Braemar Sheiling

Braemar Sheiling

In 1958 the Braemar Guide Sheiling was opened on land gifted by Cpt Nicolson of the Mar Estate and since then has provided a welcome home not just to members of Girlguiding but also to hundreds of visitors from around the country.

It is situated within a few minutes walk from the village centre next to the Braemar Games Field and is managed by Girlguiding Kincardine and Deeside.

The old Sheiling is currently being demolished to allow for an all new purpose-built facility to be built.

Please help us to fulfil our dreams of providing this wonderful new facility for use by Girl Guides and others by donating via one of the methods outlined below, or by supporting one of our fundraising events.

Major fundraising is now underway to build a replacement Sheiling with a target of £650,000.
