Our latest fundraiser for Sheiling#2 Project is a virtual balloon race!

How does it work? It is very easy!

Visit www.balloonrace.com/braemarsheiling

Click on “Buy a Balloon”

You can customise your balloon with a name, colour and message!

Balloons cost £3 each – and you can buy as many as you like!

The balloons will be launched at 12.00 noon on 24th Sept 2021

The race will run for two weeks, during which time you will be able to log on and check the progress of your balloon and watch the Leaderboard.

The race will end at12.00 noon on 8th Oct 2021

This competition is open to everyone so why not challenge your friends, neighbours and family to a little eco-friendly balloon race competition?

Over 23-25th April our amazing Team of 5 took part in the Virtual Kiltwalk 2021 by walking/cycling the 132 miles of the boundary of Girlguiding Kincardine & Deeside. The weather was excellent and a pleasant change from April showers. Thanks to the generosity of supporters and The Hunter Foundation, who pledged an additional 50% to the funds raised, over £17,500 has been added to the Sheiling#2 Funds!

Demolition Takes Place

In bright weather the demolition of the building took place this week (18th March 2020.) Although the physical presence has gone many people will retain fond memories of events and occasions celebrated over the years.
Fundraising is continuing and will continue for some time especially in view of the present Coronavirus pandemic.
